Morning Mindfulness

If you struggle to find time to meditate during the day, try starting with this simple 5 min practice:  

START with coffee, tea or warm beverage in hand ...

REST your chin on your mug gently ...

ALLOW your eyes to close ...

FOCUS your attention and awareness on the smells coming from your cup ...

INHALE - pause

EXHALE - pause

SMILE 

Feel the steam on your cheeks, lips and face. 

Before taking your first sip, allow yourself at least 2 more min's of this mindful breathing, and reflect upon how grateful you are for the simples pleasures of a warm cup of comfort.

Create an intention for the day.
