Yoga & Mindful based enrichment programs for children ages 3-12
The Yoga Peace School is a collection of our unique yoga-based enrichment programs that unites the mind, body and spirit while providing children with the foundation of a fun yoga practice as well as the freedom to express themselves creatively through music, dance, art, and nature.
With an emphasis on social and emotional development, each child will build strength and confidence through partner work and individual activities. We also stress the importance of breath work to teach children about self-regulation.
Common Goals of Our Programs
To implement healthy, holistic habits through the child’s innate curiosity that help to instill a sense of peace and mindfulness. Creating a safe, comfortable and non-intimidating space.
Keeping our class sizes small and intimate, we can create a more rewarding learning environment for children.
Kids’ Yoga 3-6yrs
We offer regular four-week series kids’ yoga classes. Pre-registration is recommended.
Wednesdays, April 5th – April 26th 9-10am
Cost: $40 for 4wks or $12 for drop-in

Jen gets you and the kids movin’ and groovin’ as she takes you on a yoga adventure. Keeping the class engaged and curious to what will happen next, children are attentive, alive and radiant. Bringing in breath work, meditation, and body movement through dance, games, stories and yoga postures. Planting for the future, children leave with seeds of love, kindness and compassion.

Engaged and curious to what will happen next, kids become alive and radiant freely expressing themselves in a safe non-intimidating space. Focusing on breath work, meditation, group, partner and individual postures, art, journaling and creative thinking. Kids leave with more self knowledge, respect and inner compassion.

Prana Kids Nature Retreat with Jennifer Moody
A wellness retreat for children ages 7-12 yrs.
Together we share in each others life energy. Creating connections, building friendships, exploring creative channels and testing our boundaries. We will meet at the Elmore State Park – taking our adventure to the mountain, and letting our events naturally unfold. We may do some yoga, meditation, journaling, climbing, building…but most of all exploring nature and testing our boundaries.
This retreat is for both boys and girls. Please note we will be outside, so your child(ren) must dress for the weather!
A snack will be provided.

MiniYoga Camp with Jennifer Moody
For Ages 3-6 (fully potty trained required)
A perfect summer activity for your kids and a great morning break for you! Help promote the importance of health early by improving your child’s concentration, positive body image, focus and attention span. They will build balance, strength and flexibility while creatively expressing himself/herself during yoga games, songs, stories, breath work and postures. We will also have fun romping around in the state park, exploring the nature trails, streams and beach!
Adventure Summer Camp 2017
Ages 7-12 years
Come have fun and adventure the mountains, streams and lake with the Yoga Adventure Camp. Located at Elmore State Park, there’s no better place to practice yoga and mindfulness than in the great outdoors! Your kids will develop strength, flexibility, and coordination while releasing energy and learning how to focus through breathing, relaxation exercises, group games, and posture practice. Self-confidence, respect, and body awareness will also be emphasized. We will hike, swim, do yoga, play games and explore!

Children are very expressive from birth. Over time they lose this invaluable connection with their bodies. Yoga allows children to explore freely, reconnecting with themselves, through movement, meditation, breath work, song, and art.
